eWaste Bytes
About Us
In 2018, the world generated nearly 50 metric tons of electronic waste also referred to as “e waste”. eWaste Bytes began in San Diego in 2019 as a full-service electronics disposal company. As a service, we exist to properly dispose of electronics. That means breaking them down, salvaging any parts, and then disposing of them in a responsible way. We also ensure all sensitive information is destroyed.
Your Southern California Electronic Waste Management Partner
We provide state of the art e waste disposal throughout the San Diego area that’s environmentally sound. With over 20 years of experience in the technology field, we not only understand the various risks associated with data remaining on storage devices, we mitigate them. Partner with eWaste to recycle, repurpose and salvage your equipment to complete the circular economy for electronics.
Utilizing Department of Defense Compliant Disk Wiping Tools wherever physical destruction is not warranted. Older (Non-SSD) drives contain rare earth metals, such as magnets which can have a life beyond a storage device. Newer solid state drives are not effected by degausses, which could be used to wipe data on magnetic drives. We take all of this into account to ensure secure disposal of eWaste equipment containing sensitive information.
Our Services

.02
Electronic Equipment Disposal
If it has a power cord or a place for batteries, we find the right place to process it. Trying to find the right place for your waste can be daunting task. We know the industry and the who’s who of electronics processing.

Repurposing Parts
The best way to avoid landfills is to give your old equipment renewed purpose. Just because your equipment no longer serves your purpose, doesn’t mean its life ends. If there is a way to give your electronics a longer life span, we will find it.
